Mark Tilling’s Christmas afternoon tea

Join us in The Garden Room on 24 November to celebrate the launch of our Christmas afternoon tea with Chocolatier and Pastry Chef Mark Tilling.

Last year Mark guided his team to victory on BBC Two’s Bake Off Crème de la Crème (the professional version of the much-loved Great British Bake Off), and he was also crowned UK Chocolate Master in 2007 and 2009.

Working with our Head Pastry Chef Martyn Edmonds, Mark has produced a fantastic festive menu that will be available until the end of December.

Turkey leg and cranberry sandwich
Mature Cheddar and festive chutney sandwich
Crab and chive tart

Plain, fruit, and orange and chestnut scones with preserves and clotted cream

Gingerbread macaron, red fruits and vanilla bean cream
Clementine mousse, cranberry compote, star anise shortbread
Brown butter and salted pecan custard tart
Chestnut praline and dark chocolate cream choux
Spiced apple cake, cinnamon cream

White chocolate and eggnog hot chocolate, nutmeg cookie

All served with teas from The Rare Tea Co.

£25.95 per person or £32 per person with a glass of Champagne.
