Valentine’s at The Refectory
Make a date with us and treat your loved one to a delicious four course meal this Valentine’s.
We’ve picked the best of British ingredients for our dishes, including a few romantic leanings for good measure, such as Native oyster with Bloody Mary dressing and celery and a Duo of R&J Butchers’ aged beef with triple cooked chips and béarnaise.
Two-time UK Chocolate Master and winner of Great British Bake Off Crème de la Crème Mark Tilling has also created a beautiful sharing dessert of Mascarpone and vanilla mousse heart with glazed mango and pistachio cake.
Our four course menu is £40 per person:
Spiced cauliflower soup, crispy shallots (v)
Native oyster, Bloody Mary dressing, celery
Whipped Bosworth Ash goat’s cheese, pickled heritage beetroots, candied walnuts (v)
Severn & Wye smoked salmon tartare, avocado, pink grapefruit, horseradish
Pressed R&J Butchers’ ham hock, toasted sourdough, Yorkshire rhubarb
Duo of R&J Butchers’ aged beef rump and slow-cooked shin, triple cooked chips, béarnaise
Hake, shellfish risotto, red wine-roasted salsify, spring leeks
Basil gnocchi, burrata, slow-roasted tomato (v)
To Share: Mark Tilling’s mascarpone and vanilla mousse heart, glazed mango, pistachio cake
Dark chocolate parfait, passion fruit, hazelnut macaron, toffee
