Afternoon Tea Week
featuring Bake Off champion Mark Tilling
Afternoon Tea Week takes place from 8-14 August and to celebrate, we’re partnering with Mark Tilling to offer a special cake for the week.
Recently leading his team to victory on BBC Two’s Bake Off Crème de la Crème (the professional version of the much-loved Great British Bake Off), Mark was also crowned UK Chocolate Master in 2007 and 2009.
Mark is working with our Pastry Chef at The Royal York Hotel, Martyn Edmonds, to produce one of his signature cakes to join our existing afternoon tea menu:
Chocolate and raspberry pillow
Dark Venezuelan chocolate mousse with a raspberry jelly centre on a crispy milk chocolate and raspberry base
You’ll also receive a free glass of champagne when you book via Afternoontea.co.uk throughout August.
