York Restaurant Week

We’re thrilled to be taking part in York’s very first Restaurant Week from 1-7 April 2019, and as part of this we’ll be offering three courses for £20 with a complimentary bottle of house wine.

All you have to do is download a voucher from York Restaurant Week and pop in to see us (although we do advise booking in advance on Friday and Saturday evenings).

 

STARTERS
Butternut squash, sweet potato and chilli soup, smoked paprika crème fraîche (v)
Confit duck, pistachio and pink peppercorn terrine, sourdough, chutney
Lightly pickled mackerel, ratte potato and watercress salad, horseradish and yogurt dressing

MAINS
R&J Butcher’s turkey, smoked bacon and leek sausages, mashed potatoes, sautéed leeks
Cod fillet, potato rosti, savoy cabbage
Pearl barley risotto, Yorkshire Blue cheese, wild mushrooms, grilled artichokes (v)

DESSERTS
White chocolate and raspberry crème brûlée, vanilla shortbread
Warm spiced carrot pudding, vanilla ice cream, ginger beer syrup
Warm chocolate brownie, toffee fudge ice cream

 

Terms and conditions: valid between 1-7 April, a York Restaurant Week voucher must be presented at the start of your meal to be eligible for the set menu and to receive the complimentary bottle of house wine (or soft drink alternative). One bottle of house wine per two guests. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
